Bespoke CMS is better than "off-the-shelf" products

Many of the "off-the-shelf" CMS systems in the marketplace are as complicated as learning to programme a coding language yourself, and learning them can potentially take you weeks or even months. As well as this, most of the off-the-shelf solutions don't allow you to have your website as flexible as you would like. Also they tend too pigeon-hole your website, which means its hard to expand your website in the future. This means you won't be getting the very best results from your website that you would like and you'll be wasting your money.

Making a wrong move in taking a off-the-shelf CMS solution may work for you in the short term, but in the long term, most CMS users tend to cut their losses and pay further money out for a new bespoke CMS solution to be made for them.
