RLR Services use your IP address to help diagnose problems with the servers we use. Your IP address is also used to gather demographic information, and for other purposes such as monitoring visitor frequency.

Terms and Conditions

Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by English Law.

The following terms and conditions apply to all web site design services offered by Lee Richards and RLR Services, a Lee Richards company. By ordering services from Lee Richards and RLR Services you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

1. We reserve the right to refuse to construct a web site which we may judge as unfit due to content or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited by, sites which promote hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation and sites which infringe copyright or are contrary to UK laws.
   
   
2. The acceptance of a commission shall be deemed as a contractual agreement between the client and RLR Services a Lee Richards company.
   
   
3. All material, both text and images, supplied by the client and used in the construction of the client's web site, will remain the client's property. All such material will be assumed to be the property of the client and free to use without fear of breach of copyright laws.
   
   
4. RLR Services/Lee Richards expects payment by cheque, cash or Bank transfer within (14) days of the date on the invoice.
   
   
5. A deposit of 50% will be required before any work starts. This includes, artwork, design proposals, written content, site layouts and mapping. No deposit no work.
   
   
6. Invoices will be provided by Lee Richards/RLR Services upon completion of the work for Web Design and any associated services. Invoices are normally sent via email; however, the Customer may elect to receive hard copy invoices. Invoices are due upon receipt. Accounts that remain unpaid thirty (30) days after the date of the invoice will be assessed a service charge of £25 per month of the total amount due.
   
   
7. All domain names required will be purchased when the client requires. This includes within the deposit stage. For more than 5 domain names, or non .co.uk and .com, .net domains full payment for the domain registration will be required.
   
   
8. Accounts unpaid thirty (30) days after the date of invoice will be considered in default. If the Customer in default maintains any information or files on Internet Web space associated by RLR Services/Lee Richards, RLR Services/Lee Richards will, at its discretion, remove all such material from its Internet web space. Lee Richards/RLR Services is not responsible for any loss of data incurred due to the removal of the service. Removal of such material does not relieve the Customer of the obligation to pay any outstanding charges assessed to the Customer's account. Cheques returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a return charge of £25 and the Customer's account will immediately be considered to be in default until full payment is received. Customers with accounts in default agree to pay RLR Services/Lee Richards reasonable expenses, including legal fees and costs for collection by third-party agencies, incurred by RLR Services/Lee Richards in enforcing these Terms and Conditions.
   
   
9. RLR Services/Lee Richards may purchase domain names on behalf of the Customer. Payment and renewal of those domain names is the responsibility of the Customer. The loss, cancellation or otherwise of the domain brought about by non or late payment is not the responsibility of RLR Services/Lee Richards.
   
   
10. The copyright for all material provided by RLR Services/Lee Richards , such as HTML code, Flash, graphics, photographs and text, will remain the property of RLR Services/Lee Richards until such time as payment has been made in full whereupon they will become the property of the client.
    
    
11. RLR Services/Lee Richards makes every effort to design pages which display acceptably in the most popular current browsers, and most used resolution settings, but cannot accept responsibility for pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers, or newer types of OS's, monitors, PC's, released after pages have been designed.
    
    
12. RLR Services/Lee Richards will initially place the client's website on one of RLR Services/Lee Richards demonstration servers during in order that the client may view and comment upon the website's progress. When both RLR Services/Lee Richards and the client agree that the website meets the criteria agreed during the commissioning process, RLR Services/Lee Richards will invoice the client for the full amount due for the commission. On receipt of payment, RLR Services/Lee Richards will publish the website on the client's server, Domain name, or provide the source code for the site via a download (or cd-rom disk) for the client to upload.
    
    
13. If at any point during the Website Development Cycle a client wishes to cancel, they may do so but will be invoiced an amount that RLR services/Lee Richards judges to be proportional to the amount of work completed on the commission.
    
    
14. RLR Services/Lee Richards does not undertake to maintain or update a client's website as part of the design commission. If a client wishes RLR Services/Lee Richards to maintain or update a web site as a separate commission, RLR Services/Lee Richards will negotiate with the client a maintenance contract appropriate to the amount of work required. Web site maintenance may also be undertaken on a time and materials basis if the client so wishes.
    
    
15. Upon an agreement for the client to have web services through RLR Services a Lee Richards company, the client will agree to supply the content required within (28) days, unless agreed with by RLR Services/Lee Richards otherwise. If the website is ready for launch and is missing some content of which the client needs to submit and hasn't within the 28 days or agreed timescale, the client will be requested to supply at the next convenient time, but the 50% or remaining sum owed for website work completion will need to be paid in full to RLR Services/Lee Richards, and the further information will be honoured by RLR Services/Lee Richards and added without any additional charges once the client sends it to RLR Services/Lee Richards. However, failure to make the payment of the 50% or outstanding sum will result in Term 6 activating. Note: if payment outstanding is paid in full before services and work is completed, the website can go live on the domain name/s if required by the client.
